Modular Furniture Machine Operator works in furniture manufacturing units and operates machines used for cutting, drilling, edge banding, routing, and finishing modular furniture components. Common machines include Panel Saw, Edge Bander, CNC Router, Multi-Boring Machine, and Cold Press.
Job Title: Modular Furniture Machine Operator

Key ResponsibilitiesOperate woodworking and modular furniture machines safely and efficiently.
Read production drawings, cutting lists, and technical layouts.
Set up machines and adjust settings for different materials and designs.
Perform cutting, drilling, edge banding, routing, and panel processing operations.
Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality.
Carry out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Minimize material wastage and maintain production targets.
Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
Coordinate with production supervisors, carpenters, and quality teams.
Required SkillsKnowledge of CNC Router, Panel Saw, Edge Bander, and Multi-Boring machines.
Ability to read shop drawings and production plans.
Understanding of MDF, plywood, particle board, laminates, and HDHMR materials.
