As per the Ministry of Labour & Employment, the minimum wage for carpenter jobs in India is ₹19,200 per month as of April 2026 for skilled workers in the construction sector. This rate includes a variable dearness allowance component revised every six months with overtime paid at double the hourly rate beyond 8 hours daily.
