The Security Driver will be responsible for ensuring the client's safety and timely transportation on a daily basis, while also providing support with office administrative tasks as needed. They will transport client personnel to and from locations in a secure, comfortable, and efficient way.

This role is a contract position for up to 6 months.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
β€’ Function as a driver within a team of security personnel responsible for the transportation of personnel as per schedules
β€’ Transport staff members to various destinations as and when required, within the boundaries of Control Risks (CR) Security Policies and Planning of routes always ensuring the safety of passengers
β€’ Maintain a close liaison with the Control Risks Security Manager (SM) and ensuring a detailed knowledge of the safest routes
β€’ Ensure that the assigned vehicle is fully operational and well-maintained including inventory of all the necessary communication and emergency equipment readily available and tightly secured in their assigned vehicles such as first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, serviceable spare wheel, wheel changing kit, spare keys, torch, spare water, jumper cable & tow rope.
β€’ Maintain vehicle logbooks for daily trips and keep records of mileage and fuel consumption of each vehicle
β€’ Ensure that the assigned vehicles are maintained regularly in accordance to service records of each vehicle and when required
β€’ Ensure that the assigned vehicles are in good operational conditions: conducting daily checks (oil, fuel, brakes, tyres, battery, tool kits, etc) on all assigned vehicles and before the commencement of any trip, and reporting of any defects to the SM for immediate repairs and maintenance.
β€’ Ability to carry out minor mechanical emergency repairs on vehicles as and when required
β€’ Maintain close communication with the SM during all movements
β€’ Assist the SM in accomplishing effective protective security coverage for their assigned employee and remain vigilant and alert at all times whilst on duty and carry out training in areas of deficiencies to meet higher level of competencies
β€’ Ensure that the vehicle is not left unattended while on task and conduct a 360 degrees vehicle sweep before and after any movement
β€’ Keep abreast of tactical operational procedures, emergency and contingency planning of CR procedures for road movements and participate during team training
β€’ Ensure readiness for rapid deployment at any time
β€’ Execute operational procedures and practices dependent on operational environment and observe all national traffic rules and act in accordance with CR rules regarding vehicle operation and traffic safety
β€’ Assist the SM in the execution of their duties as and where required
β€’ Assist with standard Driver duties as and when required
β€’ Perform any other tasks as would be required by the SM
β€’ Demonstrating competent driving skills under normal and high-stress circumstances

Requirements
β€’ Possess a current PDP license.
β€’ Have accredited advanced driver training (Defensive driving)
β€’ PSiRA Grade A or B license
β€’ Hold a valid CPO certificate
β€’ Police clearance certificate
β€’ Recording and reporting advance knowledge and expertise
β€’ High level of concentration and attention
β€’ Accurate observation
β€’ Capable in writing clear and concise reports
β€’ Be experienced in route reconnaissance and route planning
β€’ Be trained in the use of physical methods of control and restraint
β€’ Be experienced in basic communications and radio use/procedures
β€’ Familiarity with basic Microsoft programs.

β€’ Ability to perform a variety of repetitive and routine tasks and duties
