Description: We are currently seeking a Warehouse Picker and Packer to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are in good condition and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications - Inspect products for any damages or defects - Label and package products for shipment - Maintain inventory levels and report any discrepancies - Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner - Keep the warehouse clean and organized - Follow all safety procedures and regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations - Communicate any issues or delays to the warehouse supervisor - Meet productivity targets and deadlines
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred - Ability to lift and move heavy objects - Familiarity with warehouse equipment and procedures - Attention to detail and accuracy - Basic math and computer skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Strong communication and teamwork skills Contract
