Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welder - Gauteng, Pretoria East

#DriveYourCareerForward as a skilled TIG Welder within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing and fabrication environment.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and detail-orientated TIG Welder to join their workshop team. This role is suited to a hands-on individual with strong aluminium and stainless-steel welding experience, who takes pride in neat fabrication and quality workmanship.

Remuneration:
R 15 000 – R 23 000 Per month depending on experience - Benefits include Provident Fund

Duties
β€’ Reporting to the workshop foreman
β€’ Advanced TIG welding on aluminium and stainless steel components
β€’ Fabrication and assembly according to technical drawings and specifications
β€’ Grinding, finishing and fitment of fabricated components
β€’ Working accurately from digital drawings, photos and specifications
β€’ Maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
β€’ Ensuring workshop safety and cleanliness standards are maintained
β€’ Working independently while meeting deadlines and production targets

Requirements:
β€’ Proven TIG welding experience within a fabrication or automotive environment
β€’ Strong aluminium and stainless-steel welding ability
β€’ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
β€’ Excellent finishing and fabrication skills
β€’ Reliable, disciplined and physically fit
β€’ Ability to work well under pressure and within a team environment
β€’ Trade qualification advantageous but not essential
β€’ Welding certification advantageous
β€’ Valid driver’s licence advantageous
β€’ Basic computer literacy advantageous
