Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a reliable a dedicated and skilled Plumber Artisan Aid to join our Building Department team. The successful candidate will support licensed plumbers in maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing systems, while ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

As a Plumber Artisan Aid, your duties will include: Technical Support Assisting licensed plumbers with installations, repairs, and plumbing projects. Preparing pipes, fittings, and tubing (cutting, threading, measuring). Supporting the inspection and maintenance of plumbing systems. Tools, Equipment & Site Preparation Setting up, maintaining, and organising plumbing tools and equipment. Preparing work areas and ensuring a safe, clean, and organised environment. Handling and transporting materials, equipment, and supplies. Maintenance & Repairs Assisting in diagnosing plumbing issues. Cleaning drains, replacing worn components, and conducting basic maintenance. Safety & Compliance Adhering to SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards, including ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001. Following all safety guidelines and reporting hazards. Customer Service & Documentation Interacting professionally with clients and staff. Recording work done, materials used, and maintaining documentation. Additional Duties Housekeeping of workshops and offices. Transporting fellow employees when required. Any reasonable tasks as delegated by management.

Qualifications

Grade 12 Plumber Certificate OR N2 in Civil Engineering Basic plumbing knowledge and familiarity with tools and materials Physically fit to handle manual tasks and work in confined spaces Experience in plumbing or a related technical field will be an advantage.
