Look the part when you go in person. Clean uniform copy and your certs ready. First impressions stick in this game.
Staying Safe on the Job Yourself
It's not all sitting pretty. Some sites get real tense especially in high crime zones. Always have backup numbers and know your exits.
From personal experience the best guards stay calm and communicate. Panic spreads fast and makes everything worse.
But the money does come regular if you stick it out a year or two. Promotions to supervisor happen quicker than you'd think if you show up reliable.
