Master Installation Electrician (MIE) – Urgent Hire | Industrial & Power Sector

Vectorcore Partners (Pty) Ltd is urgently seeking a
qualified Master Installation Electrician (MIE)
for a major electrical maintenance project within a high-risk industrial / power environment.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Registered
Master Installation Electrician (MIE)
with Department of Labour

• Valid
MIE Licence
(must be submitted with application)

• Minimum
5+ years’ experience
in:
• Heavy industrial environments
• Power generation / substations / plant maintenance

• Strong technical understanding of:
• MV/LV systems (up to 11kV)
• Electrical compliance & certification
• Fault finding and system diagnostics

Key Responsibilities
• Provide electrical compliance oversight and certification
• Supervise and guide electrical maintenance teams
• Ensure safe execution of work in line with Eskom and OHS standards
• Review and approve electrical installations and maintenance work
• Support troubleshooting of complex electrical systems
• Ensure strict adherence to Permit-to-Work and LOTO procedures

Advantageous Experience
• Eskom / utility / substation environments
• Mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry
• Shutdown maintenance operations To Apply
