Job Description
Our corporate client is looking for a security guard to be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, property, and assets.
• Surveillance and Monitoring:
• Regularly patrolling assigned areas to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Using surveillance equipment, such as cameras and monitors, to keep an eye on premises.
• Access Control:
• Checking the credentials of individuals entering a secured area.
• Monitoring entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access.
• Emergency Response:
• Responding to alarms and incidents quickly and appropriately.
• Contacting emergency services (police, fire, medical) when necessary.
• Communication:
• Maintaining communication with other security personnel and relevant authorities.
• Providing clear and concise reports on incidents, observations, and activities.
• Customer Service:
• Assisting visitors and employees with directions and information.
• Acting as a point of contact for inquiries or assistance.
• Crime Prevention:
• Deterrence of criminal activity through a visible security presence.
• Reporting suspicious behavior or activities.
• Conflict Resolution:
• Resolving minor conflicts or disputes within the premises.
• Acting as a mediator and maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Security Equipment Operation:
• Using and maintaining security equipment, such as metal detectors, X-ray machines, or communication devices.
• First Aid:
• Administering basic first aid when required.
• Providing assistance until medical professionals arrive.
• Documentation:
• Keeping detailed logs and records of security-related activities.
• Documenting incidents, accidents, or any irregularities.
• Training and Education:
• Participating in ongoing training to stay updated on security procedures.
• Educating employees or visitors on security protocols when necessary.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborating with law enforcement agencies, if required.
• Working with other security personnel and staff to maintain a cohesive security system.
