Our client, a prominent manufacturing facility in **Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape**, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join their maintenance and operations team. This role requires a dedicated presence at our Port Elizabeth facility. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. This includes power distribution systems, control panels, motors, variable speed drives, PLCs, and other sophisticated automation components. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical theory, schematics, blueprints, and electrical safety procedures. A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or heavy industry setting is essential.
