Junior Automation / Electrical Technicians – A hands-on opportunity for a driven young Technician to grow in industrial automation.
Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is an established machine-building and engineering company specialising in industrial automation and electrical systems. They design, build, install, and commission automated machinery for manufacturing environments. The company is focused on developing young technical talent, offering strong exposure to real-world automation projects, structured training, and long-term career growth within the business.

The successful candidate will assist with electrical installation, panel wiring, PLC programming support, fault-finding, and commissioning of automated machinery. Responsibilities include working on-site during installations, supporting troubleshooting activities, assisting with testing and start-ups, and ensuring that work is completed safely and to specifications. The role requires travel to client sites and a strong willingness to learn.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
• Electrical Trade / Millwright / Mechatronics / Instrumentation trade qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in PLCs, automation, or electrical industrial work
• Basic to intermediate exposure to PLC systems, control panels, and automation equipment
• Ambitious, hands-on, willing to travel, and eager to grow in automation engineering
