Our client, a large commercial property management firm, is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Facilities Cleaner and Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at their key properties in **Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, ZA**. The Senior Facilities Cleaner and Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all assigned areas. Supervise and lead a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance and support. Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all assigned facilities. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards are consistently met. Perform hands-on cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing restrooms, and waste removal. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and carpet cleaners. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering replacements as needed. Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies. Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for staff and occupants. Respond promptly to cleaning-related requests and emergencies. Maintain records of cleaning activities, inspections, and staff performance.
