What You'll Do:
β€’ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
β€’ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
β€’ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify potential concerns, and report security-related issues at an aero and defense location.
β€’ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to control access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements and security-related procedures.
β€’ Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with inspections of doors, gates, and exterior areas, and reporting maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
β€’ An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
β€’ A guard card and/or license is preferred.
β€’ CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
β€’ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
β€’ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
β€’ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
β€’ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
β€’ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
β€’ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
β€’ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
