Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced construction Journeyman Plumber. This role involves the installation, modification, and repair of a wide range of plumbing systems in commercial environments. Per diem is provided for travel-related expenses.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, modify, and repair utility, supply, and disposal systems
• Work with systems including:
• Sewage, water, gas, and oil lines
• Compressed air, vacuum, and acid systems
• Fixtures and equipment such as water closets, water heaters, hydrants, valves, and pumps
• Read and interpret blueprints to lay out plumbing systems for underground rough-in and top-out phases
• Install DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent), domestic water piping (hot and cold), and acid waste systems
• Install natural gas and medical gas systems (vacuum, O?, medical air, nitrogen)
• Set plumbing fixtures for commercial buildings and healthcare facilities
• Perform soldering, brazing, threading of steel pipe, and use of Pro Press
• Conduct pressure testing and leak detection procedures
• Cut openings in structures using hand and power tools
• Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems
Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial plumbing
• Completion of a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program
• Valid state plumbing license or eligibility to sit for the Texas exam
• Prior experience in HVAC/mechanical systems in a commercial setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing codes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
