As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driving Role in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and coordination with store management and/or public emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points, with awareness that working conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential risks, and help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and unauthorized access through a visible presence and routine observation.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and/or noteworthy conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:
• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
