What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are seeking a friendly, service-driven PM Restaurant Server to join our full-service hotel lobby bar and restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced, polished hospitality environment.

Position Summary: The PM Restaurant Server provides exceptional food and beverage service in the hotel lobby bar and restaurant during evening hours, delivering knowledgeable, timely, and guest-focused service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high guest service standards.

Status Type & Pay: This is a Full-Time position and is eligible to participate in all our fantastic benefits offered to non-exempt hourly team members.

Scheduling: This position requires the flexibility to work 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM, any day of the week, including weekend and holidays. Schedule will change weekly based on business demands.

Specifically, as the PM Restaurant Server, your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Deliver proactive, friendly, and attentive service to create a memorable guest dining experience.
• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and confidently recommend food, wine, cocktails, and beverages.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely, polished delivery.
• Communicate guest allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests clearly to the kitchen and bar.
• Maintain strong knowledge of all menu items, including descriptions and pairing suggestions.
• Work collaboratively with bartenders, kitchen staff, and hotel team members to ensure seamless service.
• Accurately process guest checks using the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Uphold hotel brand standards, professionalism, and a guest-first service culture.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, restocking, and maintain proper uniform and personal appearance.
• This list is not all inclusive, additional job functions will be shared during interviews.

Supportive Functions: The hotel functions seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours per day. Due to the seasonal nature and business hours of a hotel, candidates must realize it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift to meet business demands. All associates are expected to perform any other duties as requested by management to support other departments and/or operational requirements.

What are we looking for?
• Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant, or similar service environment, is required.
• Availability to work any day of the week with no restrictions, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written to effectively communicate with guests and staff.
• Knowledgeable of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, as well as recommended pairings.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands and priorities in a fast-paced environment and respond with a sense of urgency when needed effectively.
• Moving up to 40 lbs. frequently, throughout shift, to perform essential job functions.
• Moving through-out hotel lobby bar, restaurant and kitchen areas, including frequent and repeated climbing up and down stairs, for duration of shift.
• Capable of remaining in a standing position, either stationary or walking, for duration of shift.
• Extend arms; frequent reaching, twisting, pulling, bending, and stooping
• Able to work in a busy restaurant environment, including exposure to various noise levels and large crowds.
• Ability to observe and adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company guidelines for food handling, cross-contamination protocols, and sanitation.

Professional Licenses/Certifications:
• Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification are required.
