Job Description
BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for Packaging Associates to work for a Greater Los Angeles area contract manufacturing company.

Pay Rate: $18-24/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:
• Packaging Associates are required to aid in aspects of filling operations, assembly of products, and productions of accessory items. In addition, assistants will help in calculating inventory quantities and retrieving inventory components for assembly.
• This position must maintain minimum production rates and complete applicable production forms, primarily the Kit Packaging Record, utilizing mathematical skills in determining quantities produced and/or wasted and time frames for completing the task.
• Further duties encompass operating packaging equipment such as the shrink wrap/sealing machine, the laminating machine, the syringe assembly apparatus, the tip bending machine, and the packaging conveyor.
• This position must appropriately tag and stock completed products, in addition to supporting filling operations as necessary in capping applications.
• Extremely accurate counting and packing is required.

Experience/Requirements:
• Must have a High School Diploma, not a GED (Must be able to demonstrate general knowledge and skills by passing the standard Scientific Pharmaceuticals' test).
• Experience in bottle filling/fine assembly is HIGHLY preferred
• Proficiency in the English language and communication skills mandatory for following written setup instructions and completing production forms required by FDA and ISO regulations, in addition to safety considerations in a chemical. manufacturing facility.
• General mechanical aptitude is required in order to operate basic packaging equipment, such as a laminating machine, sealing machine, conveyor, etc.
• Excellent mathematical ability is required for calculating inventory quantities, assembling production items, and assisting in the packing of cartons.
• Lifting required up to a maximum of fifty pounds (50 lbs.) in the form of plastic trays, cardboard boxes, chemical containers, etc.
