Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in fabrication, welding, and reading blueprints, with the ability to work on complex projects that require precision and technical expertise. Responsibilities
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, and technical drawings to determine fabrication specifications.
• Operate various power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
• Perform TIG,welding to join metal parts according to industry standards.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving machining, assembly, or installation tasks.
• Assist with the setup and operation of machinery such as forklifts or cranes when necessary.
Qualifications
• Proven metal fabrication experience is a requirement.
• Proficiency in TIG welding, operation of lathe, milling machine, drilling and tapping machine and welding techniques.
• Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation essential.
• Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to measurements and material estimations.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in a construction or manufacturing environment using safety equipment .This position is ideal for candidates passionate about precision metalwork and eager to contribute their technical skills within a collaborative team environment.
