Status: Non-exempt

Wage: $20.00/hr

SUMMARY

As a Delivery & Logistics Driver, you will oversee and coordinate with other company drivers while ensuring weekly deliveries from Alfred HQ to all Los Angeles cafes. You will complete the weekly routine schedule to all cafe locations delivering HQ supplies, Commissary supplies and Lox. You will be responsible for diligently double-checking pickups and deliveries, managing your own deliveries, and picking up supplies and other office errands as delegated by the Distribution & Delivery Administrator. A clean driving record is essential to guarantee the safe arrival of our products. RESPONSIBILITIES
• HQ Orders/Deliveries
• Complete the established weekly cafe delivery schedule.
• Schedule and coordinate any additional business deliveries, as needed, by office personnel (including wholesale deliveries, check deposits, pick up office lunches, catering drop offs, misc. errands).
• Supports occasional deliveries for CEO 1-3x per week.
• Abide by all company policies and safety regulations, as well as motor vehicle traffic regulations (rules of the road). No cell phones on duty, especially when driving.
• If parking violation tickets or vehicle traffic regulation tickets are issued while using the company vehicle, Driver will be responsible for all fines listed on violations.
• HQ/Office
• Coordinating employee requests for pickups/deliveries through email and slack.
• Assist with the receiving and unloading of pallets, and transferring supplies to HQ in an organized fashion.
• Assisting with the cleanliness and maintenance of HQ.
• Perform other duties as assigned: packing, moving and setting up of furniture, equipment, etc.
• Delivering cafe invoices to Alfred accounting department.
• Diligent with van maintenance and organization of van maintenance records.
• Collecting and filing all packing slip confirmations
• Lead
• Lead and support Company Drivers, provide guidance and assistance to ensure they are effectively managed, developed, and well-supported in their roles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds for medium distances.
• Ability to hear and communicate effectively in English.
• Good vision, including the ability to see details at close range.
• Flexibility to bend and squat as necessary to perform tasks.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and carry boxes, load and unload items onto a dolly, and push deliveries into cafes and/or HQ.
• Capability to sit for extended periods while driving and remain focused during long journeys.
• Ability to speak clearly and project voice to effectively communicate with vendors and team members.
• This position will require frequent standing and use of hands and arms. Regularly required to handle food, hot beverages, and work with sharp objects.
