Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job scope: 3 days a week (M/W/F) for 1.5 hrs per visit (4.5 hours a week). Hours- 5pm to 6:30pm located in North East Philly (near Academy and Red Lion Road)

Responsibilities
• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards.
• Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing as needed.
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as trash removal and restroom sanitation.
• Engage in residential painting and touch-up work when necessary to maintain aesthetic appeal.
• Carry out commercial cleaning duties in office spaces, retail environments, or other business facilities.
• Provide custodial services that include vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and cleaning windows.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks in manufacturing or warehouse settings to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Act as a porter by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and supporting other staff with cleaning needs.

Requirements
• Proven experience in cleaning roles such as custodial services or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• A proactive approach to identifying areas that require maintenance or additional cleaning efforts.
