Shift Starting Times

AM shifts: Monday - Saturday 2:00PM - 10:30PM

COMPENSATION: Starts at $22.50/hour

Job Purpose

Packing Associates are responsible for moving, sorting, vacuum-sealing, and packaging goods at our food processing kitchen and warehouse. Packing Associates work well independently and in a group setting, with and without supervision, and can carry out all responsibilities in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

• Moving, sorting, vacuum-sealing, and packaging goods in accordance with Health Department
• regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
• Meeting with supervisor(s) to review information pertinent to the job performance, to include daily
• assignments, business levels, lost or damaged items, etc.
• Verifying that all items on the Packing List and/or Sales Order are organized to be loaded onto the
• truck properly
• Labeling all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
• Able to work independently with or without supervision
• Maintaining ongoing communication with supervisors and/or managers
• Organizing the warehouse and packing facility daily
• Possessing strong verbal and written communication skills
• * Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed at all times
• * Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager(s) of management

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Frequently needs to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, in extreme non-weather heat, and in extreme non-weather cold
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day, and push a cart weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Constantly exposed to both hot and cold temperature conditions is pertinent.
• Follows all safety procedures, uses restaurant safety words during all shifts, and asks for assistance

• Must practice proper body mechanics and use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid
• injury:
• Cutting gloves when cutting
• Back support belt when lifting heavy items
• Goggles and long gloves when working with chemicals
• Other PPE as needed (if applicable)
