As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer-focused service. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to clients at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per post orders and communicating clearly with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor identity and/or credentials per site policy, and document entries, exits, deliveries, and other activity in required logs and systems.
• Complete incident reports and routine documentation, report maintenance hazards and/or suspicious conditions, and support a professional environment by providing directions, information, and assistance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:
• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be 21 or more years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
