POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled welder and fabricator for an hourly role at our plant. The ideal candidate will excel both independently and within a team environment. A strong work ethic and sound judgment are essential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
• Responsible for the fabrication and welding of industrial equipment, fixtures, and other custom components.
• Interpret layouts, blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
• Versatile in all aspects of welding, including MIG, TIG, stick, plasma, brazing, and soldering.
• Cutting and assembling materials.
• Torch cutting.
• Use and maintain welding equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including proper PPE.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks with high quality and precision.
• Work proactively to drive process improvements and achieve results.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICIATION REQUIREMENTS
• Proven welding capabilities and a solid operational and technical background.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Action and goal-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English

EDUCATION
• Professional certifications from an accredited school
• High School diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years as a welder/fabricator
• Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
• 5+ years Aluminum welding
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment, machinery and procedures
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Attention to det
• Problem solving and time management skills
• Effectively communicate

WORKING CONDITIONS

The typical work area is within the factory and welding area. There are times where outside work may be required. Welding, soldering, and brazing workers often are exposed to intense light created by the arc, fumes, and very hot materials. The wearing of safety shoes, goggles, hoods with protective lenses, and other devices designed to prevent burns and eye injuries is required.

• The physical demands include, but are not limited to sitting, standing, walking, communicating, seeing, hearing, use of hands, and lifting.
