Welder – Full-Time, First Shift
Chicago Metalcraft Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team at our South Elgin location. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity.
Chicago Metalcraft Inc. designs and manufactures OEM-quality stainless steel fabrications, conveyors, and machinery for the food production industry. We are looking for someone with strong fabrication and TIG welding experience, especially with hygienic or food-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general fabrication work
• TIG weld stainless steel components
• Cut, form, and weld materials
• Follow fabrication instructions and quality standards
• Work accurately and efficiently
• Report directly to the Workshop Supervisor
Qualifications:
• Proven TIG welding experience
• Experience with hygienic or food-grade applications preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Demonstrated progressive work responsibility
