Job Details

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• In performing functions, duties, or tasks, employees are required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to security operations & job safety - including safety rules and regulations. Employees are required to notify superiors upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions.
• All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representatives.
• Supports management through accepting various assignments at multiple locations in order to cover open posts both preplanned and unscheduled.
• Must provide excellent customer service when dealing with Clients, Customers, Co-Workers, etc.
• Will travel on a daily basis between various locations within the designated region.
• Observes and reports activities and incidents at assigned client locations.
• Guard posts - this may include building lobbies, reception areas, guard shacks, control centers, etc.
• Conduct periodic foot or vehicle patrols of the assigned locations to check for irregularities, unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors and will enforce policies and procedures for the site location.
• Check for employee and vendor identifications.
• Look for suspicious persons, packages, and activities.
• Inspect vehicles and packages as well as monitor deliveries.
• Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
• Officers will be First Aid/CPR. AED certified. Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be 21 years or older
• Exceptional customer service
• Ability to write effective, concise, and legible reports
• Valid PERC & 20HR Security Training Certificate
• Must be willing to work all shifts and be willing to travel to multiple locations Certification Requirements
