As a Security Officer Patrol Services Agent in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a corporate technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or documenting activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, helping to manage visitor traffic, report suspicious behavior, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
