What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with visitor direction, policy awareness, and reporting of maintenance, life system, and/or property-related issues observed during the shift.
• Prepare clear written reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations, and support Allied Universal team members and site contacts with timely communication regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
