Job Description
About Alta Adams

Alta Adams is a nationally recognized neighborhood restaurant located in West Adams, founded in 2018 by Executive Chef and Owner Keith Corbin. Named one of the best restaurants in the country by Esquire, Thrillist, and the Los Angeles Times, and recognized by Eater as one of the 38 most influential restaurants in America over the last 25 years. Alta Adams’ doors are temporarily closed for a reset. The team is stripping back the culinary direction, interior, and experience from the ground up, making deliberate choices about what comes back and why. During this period, Adams Wine Shop continues to operate daily. This is a rare opportunity to join a landmark Los Angeles restaurant at its most pivotal moment and help shape it into an elevated, chef-driven dining destination built with purpose. We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a passion for refined hospitality who thrives in neighborhood restaurants with national reputation. This leader will work alongside Chef Corbin to build a culture of exceptional service, seamless operations, and unforgettable guest experiences.

Position Overview

As General Manager of Alta Adams, you will own the complete guest journey from reservation to farewell. You will oversee all aspects of front-of-house operations including leadership, staff development, elevated hospitality standards, guest relations, private dining, pacing and flow, and profitability. Working in close partnership with Chef Corbin, you will help build and lead a reimagined team and concept, driving operational excellence across the restaurant and Adams Wine Shop.

This role requires strong organizational skills, a passion for refined hospitality, the ability to lead by example on the floor, and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
