The Role

Part-Time Evening Cleaner

Mon-Fri 4pm-12:30am

We’re seeking a reliable cleaner to service one courthouse per shift, scheduled 3–4 evenings per week with advance notice provided. Note: You will be guaranteed a minimum of 24 hours per week. The hours are from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM and includes general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom sanitation. Ideal candidates are dependable, able to work independently, and comfortable with a flexible weekly schedule.

This role will provide janitorial services to the following courthouses:
• Compton Courthouse
• Norwalk Courthouse
• Torrance Courthouse
• LAX Airport Courthouse

What You Will Do
• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
