Job Description

As a Security Guard - Foot Patrol Watch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support employees and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of concerns. What You'll Do:
• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and lobby traffic, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and maintain visitor logs and key control per site procedures.
• Complete detailed shift documentation, including incident reports and patrol activity reports, and communicate notable observations to the next shift and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
