About Us

Crème De La Clean is a luxury residential and commercial cleaning, laundry, and packing service serving Chicago and the surrounding areas. We are selective, we only hire the best, and we pay accordingly.
Job Summary

If you love staying active, exploring new neighborhoods, and making spaces shine, this is the job for you. Every day looks different. One day you might be giving a luxury home a deep clean, the next you're prepping a downtown office or packing up a client's apartment for a big move. Our work takes us all over the city, so you'll get paid to see new places while making them look their absolute best.

Please note: This is a part-time position only to start. You will be scheduled weekly on a flex (on-call) basis based on client demand and your availability. Cleaners who complete training, receive positive client feedback, and demonstrate consistent reliability and professionalism will have the opportunity to advance to full-time hours. Longer travel distances include travel pay.

What You'll Do
• Perform standard, deep, and move-in/move-out cleanings for homes, offices, and event spaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and polish all floor surfaces
• High and low dusting of all surfaces including ceiling fans (step stool required occasionally)
• Clean interior and exterior of all appliances
• Wipe down countertops, cabinets, and fixtures
• Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Assist with light facilities maintenance and keep common areas spotless
• Help with porter duties or light painting touch-ups when needed
• Communicate professionally with clients and team before, during, and after every appointment
• Provide a white-glove, five-star experience every single visit

Requirements
• Minimum 6 months of cleaning, custodial, or janitorial experience (we will train the right person)
• Smartphone required
• Reliable transportation. Personal vehicle preferred, public transit accepted
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally use a step stool
• Punctual, dependable, and professional at all times
• Strong communication skills and a warm, hospitality-forward attitude
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and standards
• Must be available on-call on a weekly basis

What We're Really Looking For
Skills can be trained, attitude cannot. We only work with cleaners who are reliable, show up on time, communicate well, and take genuine pride in their work. We are a premium service and we do not hire unprofessional, impatient, or dishonest representatives. If you love to clean, love people, and want to be part of a team that makes the city sparkle — we want to hear from you.

Compensation & Supplies
• $25/hr base pay — above market rate
• Tips and performance bonuses on top of base pay
• Travel pay included for longer distance appointments
• A low-cost starter supply kit is required at hire. You are fully reimbursed for all cleaning chemicals after completing training and servicing clients
• After training, all supplies are provided by Crème De La Clean
• Part-time to start with a genuine path to full-time based on availability, positive client feedback, and successful training completion
