As per the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the minimum wage for electrician jobs in Turkey is 30.000 TL per month as of January 2026. Electricians receive 1.5 times the hourly rate for overtime beyond 45 hours per week.

As per the Turkish Employment Agency, electrician positions require a vocational high school diploma or 2-year associate degree in electrical fields plus 1 year of experience. MYK Level 3 or 4 certificate has been mandatory since 2023.
