As per the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the minimum wage for electrician jobs in Turkey is 30.000 TL per month as of January 2026. Electricians receive 1.5 times the hourly rate for overtime beyond 45 hours per week.

As per the Turkish Employment Agency, electrician positions require a vocational high school diploma or 2-year associate degree in electrical fields plus 1 year of experience. MYK Level 3 or 4 certificate has been mandatory since 2023.

As per the Turkish Employment Agency, applicants submit national ID, diploma, MYK certificate and health report via the İŞKUR online portal. All applications require prior registration on turkiye.gov.tr before the March 2026 public sector deadlines.

As per the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, electricians work 45 hours per week with 14 days of annual leave after the first year, rising to 26 days after 15 years. Paid sick leave covers up to 6 months with an approved medical report.
