Part time Cleaners

The Ministry of Manpower sets the minimum monthly basic salary for Work Permit holders in packing roles at SGD 1,600 from 1 January 2026, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate beyond 44 hours weekly. Employers must also provide a fixed monthly allowance of at least SGD 200 for transport and meals. This rate applies to all new and renewed contracts starting in 2026.

Foreigners must hold a valid Work Permit issued by the Ministry of Manpower for packing jobs, with applications submitted only through approved employment agencies by 31 March 2026. The permit costs SGD 30 for issuance and requires a security bond of SGD 5,000 from the employer. Renewal must occur at least one month before expiry.

The Ministry of Manpower requires packing job applicants to have completed at least secondary school education and six months of prior warehouse experience verified by payslips. No formal certification is mandatory but forklift operation experience adds SGD 150 to the base salary from 2026.

Applicants must submit a valid passport, educational certificates, and employment references to the Ministry of Manpower portal by the 15th of each month for processing within 14 working days. A medical report from an approved clinic dated within three months is also mandatory for Work Permit approval.
