As per the Ministry of Manpower, the minimum monthly wage for entry-level security officers in Singapore is SGD 2,050 as of 1 January 2026 under the Progressive Wage Model. Employers verify these through the Security Industry Regulatory Framework before hiring.

As per the Ministry of Manpower, applicants must submit a valid NRIC or Work Permit, Security Officer Licence from the Police Licensing & Regulatory Department, and educational certificates during the job application. Additional documents include a recent passport-sized photo, CPF contribution statement, and employment contract signed by the employer. All submissions occur via the MOM Work Pass Online portal at least 7 days before the start date.
