Tourist Coach Driver

As per the Ministry of Manpower, the Progressive Wage Model requires lorry drivers to earn at least SGD 2,500 per month from 1 January 2026, rising to SGD 2,800 upon completing 2 years of service with valid Class 3 or 4 licence. Overtime must be paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate after 44 hours per week. Employers must submit wage records via MOM's online portal by the 15th of each month.

As per the Ministry of Manpower, foreign drivers must hold a valid Class 3, 4 or 5 driving licence and obtain an In-Principle Approval before arrival, with the work permit issued within 2 weeks of medical check-up at approved clinics. The foreign worker levy is SGD 650 per month for basic skilled drivers in 2026. Applications are submitted only through licensed employment agencies via the MOM Work Pass Online system.

They receive 14 days of paid annual leave after 12 months of service, increasing to 21 days after 8 years. Employers must record all hours in the MOM-approved timesheet system.
