Driver 1 Month Temporary

As per the Ministry of Labour, the minimum wage for all workers including welders in Qatar is 1,000 QAR per month as of 2026 with employers required to provide accommodation or 500 QAR housing allowance plus 300 QAR food allowance. Overtime must be paid at 1.25 times the hourly rate after 8 hours per day.

As per the Ministry of Interior, foreign welders require a work visa sponsored by a Qatari employer valid for 1-5 years with the employer handling the process through the Metrash2 system before arrival. The visa fee is 100 QAR and must be converted to a residence permit within 90 days of entry.

As per the Ministry of Labour, welders must hold at least a secondary school certificate plus a 2-year technical diploma in welding and a minimum of 3 years documented experience in industrial or construction welding. Certification such as AWS or equivalent is mandatory for roles involving pressure vessels.

As per the Ministry of Labour, applicants must submit a valid passport, attested educational and experience certificates, medical fitness certificate from an approved center, and a no-objection certificate from the current sponsor if changing jobs. All documents require Qatar Embassy attestation costing 150 QAR per page.
