About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard and CCTV Operator to join the security team at ALERT SECURITY AND INVESTIOGATION AGENCY INC. This is a full-time position based in Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems and maintaining physical security across our properties. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets by combining technical monitoring expertise with on-site security presence. This position is integral to our commitment to maintaining a secure environment and protecting our valuable operations.

Key responsibilities
• Monitor CCTV camera systems throughout assigned areas, identifying and reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches in real-time
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, or other security violations
• Maintain detailed security logs and incident reports, documenting all observations, incidents, and actions taken during shifts
• Control and manage access points, including verifying identification, managing visitor entry and exit procedures, and maintaining access records
• Respond promptly to security alerts and alarms, investigating incidents and escalating to management when necessary
• Perform routine checks on security equipment to ensure all systems are functioning properly and report any malfunctions
• Communicate effectively with emergency services, management, and other team members regarding security incidents
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, upholding company security policies and procedures at all times
• Assist in training new security personnel on surveillance systems and security protocols as required

What we're looking for
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification and Valid security guard license is required.
• Proven experience as a CCTV operator, security guard, or similar security role in a professional environment
• Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and security monitoring procedures
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure in emergency situation.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to maintain focus during extended periods of monitoring
• Reliability and integrity, with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
• Familiarity with access control systems and incident documentation procedures is preferred.
