Collaborate with manufacturing and distribution teams to manage orders efficiently and provide customers with delivery updates.Receive, validate, and process customer orders accurately, with attention to details, ensuring excellent service and adherence to Motion Welding Process -complaint to ASME IX Standard.Weld, assemble, and test hoses to customer specifications, maintaining detailed testing records.Promote and maintain a safe working environment according to OSH requirements and company policy.Manage workshop stock levels efficiently and ensure timely servicing and repairs of equipment like pumps and reels.Monitor job costings to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.Utilize various hose assembly techniques including hydraulic crimping and tig welding of stainless-steel parts.Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.Maintain professional, clear, and appropriate communication with internal and external customers, delivering polite and respectful service.Attend training and development sessions as directed and assist other staff to provide exceptional customer service.Ideal Skills & ExperienceComply with Motion Australia Policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, D&A Policy) and actively promote a safe working environment per OSH requirements.Trade qualified with proven stainless steel TIG and purge welding experience; basic lathe skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings.Experience in a manufacturing environment; forklift license is advantageous; full and current driverโ€™s license required for travel between branches.Strong written and verbal communication skills; maintain professional, positive, and team-based internal and external relationships.Customer-centric with excellent engagement skills, demonstrating energy, initiative, teamwork, collaboration, respect, and a continuous improvement mindset.What is in it for you?Attractive package & tools of the trade.The opportunity to join a progressive global company.Ongoing training and career development; we genuinely care about supporting you to reach your full potential.An inclusive culture that embraces the diversity of our people.Free flu shots and counselling services with our Employee Assistance Program.We are a Company who values relationships, therefore we need this role to always work to foster and maintain trusted relationships across all levels of our business and seek to support and add value to our store network, managers, and leaders.We focus on continuous improvement and sustainable growth as our two main objectives.
