Job Description
We are looking for regular, temporary cleaner cover for a high-end residential site in Birmingham.

Rate: £13ph

Cleaning Responsibilities - Public and Residential Areas
• Clean to a high standard all internal and external public/common areas, including
• Cinema Room, Gym, Meeting Room, Post Room, Public Toilet Facilities
• Lift Lobbies, Lifts, Residential Corridors
• Carry out the following tasks:
• Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop hard flooring
• Clean mirrors, pictures, glass, windows, doors, and entry panels
• Empty and replace waste bins
• Dust and wipe down furniture, ledges, skirting, paintwork, and balustrades
• Clean and disinfect sanitary fittings and fixtures in all public toilet facilities
• Clean lift interiors thoroughly (floors, buttons, ledges)
• Ensure entrance, hallway, and stairwell walls are clean and tidy
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas at all times
• Ensure the gym area is clean and well maintained with regular checks on water supply, blue roll, and general servicing
• Report any defects, damage, or health & safety concerns to the Building Manager.

Caretaker Duties - Daily Operations and Building Maintenance
• Daily walk round of the development including visual fire door checks
• Weekly testing of Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting systems, with fault reporting
• Check and maintain bin store daily: Sweep/clean the area
• Return bins to bin stores on designated collection days, with help from day concierge team
• Inspect common areas for hazards or obstructions and take remedial action
• Ensure all communal doors, fire exits, plant rooms and bin stores are secure
• Light maintenance work as required, including:
• Replacing light bulbs
• Check operation of lifts and report faults
• Visual inspection of gutters, drains, and external areas
• Prepare and maintain inventory of tools, cleaning products, and consumables
• Keep Porters desk and site stores tidy and stocked
• Be alert to signs of vandalism, damage, or attempted break-ins and report accordingly

General Expectations
• Use only company-supplied cleaning materials in line with COSHH and Health & Safety guidelines
• Be courteous and professional at all times when dealing with residents, guests, and contractors
• Maintain a tidy and professional personal appearance while wearing company uniform and ID
• Remain flexible and responsive to additional duties or tasks as instructed by Centrick or Property Management
