Welders Needed
Are you a skilled Welder looking to join a world-class construction environment? We are seeking experienced professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and contributing to the construction of cutting-edge vessels.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and installing ship components while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and productivity.
Key responsibilities include: Welding carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium structures using a variety of welding processes:
• Manual Metal Arc (MMA)
• MIG Welding
• Automatic & Semi-Automatic Welding (Submerged Arc & KAT)
• Resistance Welding (Stud Welding)

Working from welding procedures, manufacturing instructions and technical drawings
Producing high-quality, right-first-time work that contributes to successful ship construction
Using air and electric power tools safely and effectively
Collaborating with supervisors, apprentices and other trades to overcome production challenges
Essential Requirements
? Proven FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) experience - essential
? Ability to weld in multiple positions using a variety of consumables
? Valid welding qualifications and trade papers
? Strong understanding of:
• Safe working practices
• Welding procedures
• Manufacturing processes
• Quality standards and tolerances

? Relevant safety certifications such as:
• IOSH Working Safely
• Confined Space
• Working at Height
