What You’ll Do

Retail
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Food service: preparing hot drinks (coffee, drinking chocolate, tea), serving chocolates for sit down customers, clearing dishes and wiping down tables.
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
• Complete transactions using our POS system. Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash management procedures.

Packaging:
• Preparing packaging materials, and packaging products for sale, for storage, or for shipping.
• Filling customer orders and maintaining accurate records associated with each order.
• Assisting with managing inventory for packaging and retail: confirm inventory, support procurement, and receive deliveries of raw materials and place into storage.
• Record required information into the appropriate logs in accordance with traceability procedures.
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the facility according to AHS guidelines with strict adherence to the industry defined cleaning schedule.
• Production prep, as requested, to clean trays, sort ingredients and prepare molds.

What We’re Looking For:
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in customer service
• Barista experience preferred
• Comfortable conversing with individual customers one-on-one, and speaking to large groups (15-20 customers)
• Food safety and handling knowledge and/ or experience an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to customer service
• Self-motivated and proficient at working independently
• Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to innovate and improve processes.
• A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Able to maintain a high standard of quality and commitment to meet or exceed expectations
• Excellent organizational, time management and decision making skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations in a calm and professional manner
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Canadian Work Permit valid for 1 year or more.

Perks & Benefits:
• Competitive salary based on experience, total compensation: $31,200.00-$34,320.
• Full-time position with an expectation of 40 hours per week, primarily 8-hour daytime shifts between Tuesday - Sunday with occasional evening shifts.
