GAL Canada is seeking a Picker / Packer who, under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor, will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

Requirements

We are searching for a candidate with:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Prior experience with material handling equipment preferred
• Strong team player
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Attention to detail – ensures accuracy in order picking and packing
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Organization – maintains clean and structured work areas
• Commitment to health and safety – follows all policies and procedures
• Ownership – takes pride in work and ensures tasks are completed correctly and on time
• Teamwork – works cooperatively to support warehouse operations
• Communication – clearly relays and receives information
Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:
• Picking and packing orders accurately based on pick lists
• Verifying items, quantities, and product condition before shipment
• Printing labels and preparing orders for shipping
• Wrapping and securing skids for safe transportation
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts
• Coordinating with shipping personnel to ensure timely processing
• Properly handling and storing materials
• Following all company safety rules and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
