Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in serving and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting. Duties
• Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, preparing rice, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to guarantee safety and quality
• Serve sushi to customers with professionalism and attention to detail
• Assist in menu development and suggest new sushi creations to enhance the dining experience
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving within a restaurant or food service environment
• Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including fish slicing, rice making, and ingredient pairing
• Excellent food handling skills with a focus on food safety standards
