Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Delivery Driver / Truck Driver to join one of our client team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong driving skills, experience with freight handling, and the ability to operate trucks safely. A valid DZ driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential. The DZ Delivery Driver / Truck Driver plays a critical role in maintaining our company’s reputation for dependable deliveries and customer satisfaction.

Shift: Morning; 7 am (10 to 12 hour shift)

Duties
• Safely operate delivery trucks to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload freight, using forklifts or other equipment when necessary
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance as needed
• Maintain proper delivery documentation, including logs and receipts
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status or issues
• Follow all safety protocols related to truck operation and freight handling
• Assist with warehouse duties, such as inventory management or freight organization, when not on delivery routes

Experience
• Prior experience as a truck driver, delivery driver, or in freight transportation preferred
• Familiarity with DZ truck operation, freight handling is required
• Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
• Experience with logistics software, GPS navigation, or route planning is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 59 per week
