Responsibilities for a Retail Security Guard
β€’ Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
β€’ Check identification and control access to secure areas
β€’ React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
β€’ Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
β€’ Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
β€’ Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents

Qualifications for a Retail Security Guard
β€’ Be authorized to work in Canada
β€’ Hold a valid security license
β€’ First aid certification
β€’ G Class/Classe 5 Driver's license
β€’ Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
