Job Description
Position: Housekeeping Role at Long-Term Care Facility
Become a Housekeeper at The Salvation Army, dedicated to maintaining a clean environment in a long-term care facility. This role emphasizes routine cleaning and laundry tasks.

In this position, you will focus on essential cleaning duties using various equipment and methods. Responsibilities encompass keeping common areas and residents' rooms clean, processing laundry, and reporting maintenance needs. Collaborate with other staff to create a positive and safe atmosphere for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

β€’ Sweep, vacuum, and mop various facility areas

β€’ Sort and wash residents’ personal laundry

β€’ Collect and dispose of waste responsibly

β€’ Ensure proper stocking of washroom supplies

β€’ Perform specialized cleaning as needed

Requirements:
