Specialized Cleaning Operations Manager

Our client, a premier provider of specialized cleaning services for sensitive environments, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Specialized Cleaning Operations Manager. This position requires on-site presence to oversee daily operations, manage cleaning teams, and ensure the highest standards of hygiene and safety are met. You will be responsible for scheduling and supervising cleaning staff, conducting quality control inspections, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. A critical aspect of this role is developing and implementing cleaning protocols that adhere to strict industry regulations and client-specific requirements. This includes managing waste disposal, ensuring proper use of disinfectants, and training staff on best practices for handling hazardous materials if applicable. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding cleaning operations, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction. This role also involves managing the budget for the cleaning department, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Safety is paramount; you will ensure all safety procedures are followed, conduct safety training, and manage incident reporting. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail. A background in facilities management, industrial cleaning, or a related field is highly desirable. Proven experience in managing cleaning operations, preferably in specialized or regulated environments, is required. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead teams and interact with clients. This position is based in Gatineau, Quebec, CA , and requires a commitment to on-site work. A valid driver's license may be required for site visits within the operational area.
