About the Role

Join Edmonton’s largest framing company as a Journeyperson Plumber, supporting our growing Mechanical division on prefabricated residential construction projects. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with cutting-edge processes where plumbing systems are prefabricated in our innovative facility, allowing for faster, safer, and higher-quality installations on-site. You’ll work alongside apprentices and other trades to deliver safe, efficient, and on-time homes across Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

· Complete residential plumbing installations according to prefabricated systems, drawings, schedules, and quality standards

· Install plumbing systems, fixtures, and on-demand hot water tanks

· Ensure all work complies with Alberta Building Code and company procedures

· Maintain job-site safety and cleanliness at a high standard

· Follow quality control processes to minimize deficiencies and callbacks

· Communicate material needs, delays, or issues to the Plumbing Manager

· Mentor and support apprentices with daily tasks and safe work practices

· Coordinate with other trades to maintain production flow

· Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives

· Perform additional duties as required

Requirements

· Alberta Journeyperson Plumber Certification

· Gasfitter Class B Certification

· Residential plumbing installation experience

· Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and Alberta Building Code

· Experience with prefabricated plumbing or mechanical systems is an asset

· On-demand hot water tank installation experience

· Hi-velocity system experience is an asset

· Blueprint reading skills

· Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract

· Own basic hand tools

Working Conditions

· Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs

· Frequent use of hand and power tools

· Exposure to outdoor elements, dust, and construction noise

· Overtime as required
