This role involves full cycle metal fabrication using punches, mills, brakes, shears, and a wide range of shop equipment. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in shaping raw metal into finished products, who understands how to work with tight tolerances, and who can think through the entire build process from start to finish. Strong technical ability, a solid work ethic, and clear communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Must have fitting experience.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine material requirements, part dimensions, and welding procedures.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal parts using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to meet exact specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and machinery, including manual and automated welding tools.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials and tools.
• Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues, ensuring efficient and accurate solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients to provide progress updates and address concerns.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a job shop environment.
• Proficient in multiple welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Strong understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Solid knowledge of metal types, material properties, and welding processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Must possess excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Valid welding certifications and safety training are an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:
